Milton Grange’s cooperation with Brookside by providing six hens and a coop for the chicken exhibit has been successful. As an adjunct to the exhibit, a proposed local law allowing chickens in the village of Ballston Spa was passed last month and is now in effect.
The chickens and coop are being raffled off. The drawing will be at the chicken workshop to be put on at the museum by Cornell Cooperative Extension, on October 12, from 10 to noon.
